Complete Audio Install
So i got around to getting my car some sweet sounds.
Got a legit Kenwood setup
Kenwood HU, 2 x front door speakers, 2 x rear deck speakers, diesel 1000 watt amp and a 10" kenwood sub.

i went about installing them today and boy was it interestingly fun (a bird took a **** on my door panel)
setting up was fun... running wires...fun
the only trouble i had was getting to a main line for powering the amp. i had to run a wire all the way from below the steering wheel towards the front of the car, all the way to my trunk as seen in the pic. surprisingly audi's tuck wires away very nice and securely. i didn't even second guess rattling issues that might happen

i didn't have any trouble removing the door wires or the panel itself. just a quick note for anyone removing the front driver's side window control plugs, when you reconnect them, even if u are sure u matched the colors right, check if they work properly before you put the door panel back on. i tested mine out before putting it back on and my driver's side window button controlled the passenger side window
there's like 5-6 plugs on the driver's side door(the colored plugs in the picture below) so troubleshooting wouldn't hurt. passenger side door is easier.

rear deck was actually really easy to remove. just dont be afraid to pull up because those latches connecting the rear deck are quite secure.
drilled the amp into the back of the rear seats, connected some plugs and viola.

no problems whatsoever. for anyone with any issues or questions i'd love to help. i followed the DIY from these good ol' b5 forums and it was easier than i thought. i didn't take pictures of certain things because i only thought of taking pictures when i took **** and food breaks. sorry. and just one quick note, a 10" sub is plenty for our sized cars. i don't know how people tell me i needed 2 ten inch subs to even be able to notice a difference. they are very wrong.

Nothing special at all really. In-dash DVD headunit (flip-screen), RF front separates and JVC rear 6.5" (all amped off the head unit), and a sealed 1ft box with a Crossfire dB 10" sub (had it for almost 10 years and it still hits nicely) powered by a 2-channel Coustic amp bridged. Simple, basic, and sounds great. I got out of my big audio phase a long time ago and I'm just in for clear sound quality that can go decently loud without distortion. I'll probably do what I did inmy 300ZX and wire in a second pair of tweeters in the center dash vents to enhance the front sound stage definition but that's about it. I don't have the need to knock the mortar off the buildings when I drive by anymore.
damn going strong for ten years is nice, and i love that idea u just gave me with front vent tweeters thats awesome. i love to bang hard and knock mortar off builds i had 2 1000watt memphis 12's in ym old chevy, loved it. i have just dont speakers so far a sub is next.
I like my face raped as well. I have a 13w7 and 1000/1 sitting in my garage because my ported box is too big and I haven't gotten around to making a sealed enclosure for it yet. I'm worried about how the alternator is gonna handle the 1000/1 and the 500/5 i have even with the 5 farad cap. Lots I have to get before I get rid of the Bose POS system :/

for my car im thinking 2 12'x in the trunk and a custom 8 in the rear behind the center console.
