Default Considering getting stock struts and springs.

Having a lowered car looks cool and handles well, but I just want my car to feel smooth and comfortable. The cheapest place I found for a set is rockauto.com but they just have Monroe and KYB. Would genuine Audi struts and springs feel better than aftermarket or would it be the same thing basically?

Try an S4 spring/strut combo. Vastly better than A4 and it's 100% plug and play.

Hmm. Wouldn't an S4 combo be stiffer than a regular A4 combo though? I'm just looking for comfort, not performance. Thanks.

I'm also looking to increase the comfort of my ride. Would only replacing the spring coils work?

How much are you asking for and how many miles on them?

The S4 setup is stiffer but not tremendously so. It does corner better, but the main difference is that it feels more buttoned-down and less floaty than an A4. It's by no means punishing. Firmer than an A4 for sure but not terribly and not to the detriment of ride quality. If anything, I thought it rode better.

The S4 setup is for AWD, to my knowledge the rear struts are different for FWD. So same would go for any A4 spring/strut combo made for QUATTRO.

I'd sell you my stock a4 struts and springs.

165k, I don't have one rear spring.
