I would try an check ebay or just go to a salvage yard. I'm sure you could pick one up there for a third of the price compared if you were to go to the dealer and get a new one. I had the same problem with my center console armrest lid! went to the dealer and they wanted $150 just for a new lid and I don't think I would ever pay that much just for a lid! So I got the same exact oem lid for $50 at a salvage yard.

Mines doing the same thing on the passenger's side. I'm eventually gonna recover it with something fun.

Mine looks exactly the same, it's beyond fixing because the plastic broke and someone tried to superglue it down. Let me know what you come up with for a replacement.

These are almost impossible to find on the classifieds because of how many people need them.
I rewrapped mine and used it as an excuse to do my beltline trim too.

It's actually pretty easy too.

If you want to get a used one but in good condition I would check this place out.. Tom's Foreign Auto Parts (203) 573-5605. I've gone there before! It's a salvage yard in Connecticut and they have a lot of audis. I actually saw a nice 2001 S4 getting moved on a fork lift lol. Hope this helps!

ohhh and forgot to mention! they're only $50 if you don't mind a used lid. And I've gone to the audi dealer for this and the lid itself will cost you $150, that's if you want a brand new replacement.
