Default Coolant Change

1993 90CS 2.8L V6 is the car. Where is the best place to drain all the coolant out? Didnt realize it when i bought it but it has green coolant in it and it needs to get out of there before it does any damage if it already hasnt. I know this is the b5 section but it gets more action then classic audi and the engine is almost the same as the 96 2.8.

the G11 is a green coolant too. since your car is that old it may be the G11, well it could be **** fluid too lol. what i did to flush out my system is let as much out as i could from the radiator and then kept the system going by pinching the return line and putting a hose in the reservoir.

I know ECS sells a blue G11. But i talked to the tech at the stealership and they said that i could put G12 in there so ill be picking some up on monday. And yes the coolant seems to be pretty wore out.

i would do a full flush with a bottle of coolant flush. basically you fill your system with water and a bottle of the flush fluid, drive it for like 20 miles, then flush it out with water and fill your system up with good coolant

My Audi (97 TDi) garage said that it doesn't matter if it is red, green or blue on the older cars AS LONG as one doesn't mix the colours.
