My 97 a4 quattro's only cupholder (the ones by the e-brake) are completely useless. So I'm wondering if there are any good options for placing cupholders in these cars. I can't seem to find any that will work and look clean. Also, I'd like to take the broken cupholders out and put something in there spot

 

Best bet is to find a center console from a 98-99 car like mine, where there are two useable fixed cupholders below the armrest.

 

I Had my ipod dock in one (moved it) and my other I made a small flush cup for change

 

i wish that they were bigger cuz i cant fit most of the stuff i drink in there. for example a large drink from burger king heheh. its weird how my car has only 2 cupholders. there might be some in the center divider in the back but i just dont remember and would never use them lol

 

i hate mine above the radio/heat cuz everytime i spill it gets me sticky keys which are a PITA to fix!!!

 

Okay why are you complaining. Some cars dont have any cup holders. For Example. 83 Chevy Suburban 454, 87 Chevy Blazer, 91 Integra. Be happy you have something.

 

Those arnt cars they are pieces of **** on the bottom of my tire... not to mention those are from the 80's including the 91 integra that was based off of an 80's model...

 

Point being they didnt have cup holders. But your still right. Those were POS vehicles. I had to step my game up and get something nice. The Wife always drove the nice car. Now I am single I bought the good ****.
