Custom Boost Gauge For $60 And Beer
So today While i was buyin oil and oil filter at Auto Zone i was looking at some of there gauges and seen a pretty cool vac/boost gauge. SO i bought it and kinda did some tinkering around with were i wanted it to be.
Here is my $60 Dollar solution if you dont want to spend the extra $$ on the Vent Boost Gauge from APR.
Yeah its kinda rigid and is not PERFECT, but you cant tell unless you stare at it.
Tools used:
$60 Auto-Meter Vac/Boost Gauge
Dremel
Beer
Took about 2 hours. Came out Pretty good.
Ill take some More pics in the morning.
Heres a few Pictures

I want to paint it black, but just wanted to get it placed first.
Enjoy.

At the time the EGT gauge and Oil gauge were not hooked up. That picture was from when I was running my K03 and back in 2001. That chip actaully boosted 26psi, the gauge was coming back down when the picture was taken from the back seat.
Here's mine painted black, for reference in case you haven't painted yours yet:

This one was $52 shipped including a red bulb to match the red of my gauge cluster (pre-facelift). I know it looks crooked... but the vent itself is a bit crooked.
