Default cylinder 2 misfire!!!! help

i was driving back from work and as i parked the car to stop and get some snacks, when i cam back the car was sputtering and i have no power, sacanned it and PO302 came out as a cylinder 2 misfire, what are the steps to take to figure out what of the many things that can be wrong with my car

by the way does it have anything to do with my fuel tank being almost empty when that happened?
could it be an injector?

please help me out on this one!!!

its either the plug or coilpack. IF you swap the coilpack to a differnt cylinder and the code follows it, its the pack, if it doesnt, its the plug.

You can also measure the resistance in ohms via a .... ****, I forget what it's called.

Anyways yeah, the most common problem is spark plug / coilpack failure.

Then it must be a problem in the coilpack wiring harness. You are going to have to find the wire that has most likely been melted

No need, if its a pre-00 you need a new ICM. Swapping coils and spark plugs won't do s***t.
Go to www.ecstuning.com for a new one. Its the thing sitting on top of your airbox.
