Hi there think i know the answer to this already but thought i would chuck it out there, i have a 1998 A4 B5 mk 1 and was wondering if the MK 2 headlights would fit as i prefer the whole unit to the old one which has the indicator as seperate unit. I apologise if this has been asked over and over i would of searched but on my mobile and it has limited signal at work

 

You must come from the VW side of the world, hehe. Here we don't use MK1/MK2 to describe our body stock, we use "prefacelift"/"facelift". So basically it seems you're asking if facelift one-piece headlights will fit onto your pre-facelift car (with 2-piece headlights). The answer is yes but you'll need to rewire the headlights and do some slight trimming to the fenders. Do a Google search and you will be able to come up with a DIY on this procedure.
