sounds like th first time i took my car to firestone. It was my first car, and the first repair o had an 86 accord with a leaky power steering hose. Firestone quoted $600 and 12 hours for the repair. I laughed... being not new to repairs (helped my dad and brother rebuild a few cars as kid) the hose was around $80 new ... some crazy bends, and 45minutes and it was done. I took it back to firestone and had them "find my leak" and i didn't tell them i fixed it, they claimed the hose was still spilt untill i told them i already fixed it i laughed and then left it was just funny

Tools are great but there is one tool you HAVE to have in your garage... He goes by the name IMTHEDEVIL ))
No compressor needed, never breaks down, always ready to go and all you have to do is feed him beer lol
He helped me out on my TB job and while It was my first time doing it. Watching him do it I learned so much. I can honestly say that once you see someone as good as him do through it you will be confident enough to do your own next time or at least help out another person.

Lol not much chance of that honestly it's not a bad job to tackle (I've definitely done worse tbelts than an Audi), and as Devildub can attest, the more of them you do, the easier/quicker it gets.

But thanks Emil, appreciate the props now it's time to put Tonya in an A4 so we can add another car into the rotation. Maybe when hers is due, we should make her get involved with the job!
