Decoding what Vag-com told me
So I've posted a couple times about this random acceleration that my car does when driving it, and it also sometimes idles poorly, so I finally broke and got a vag-com and went to see what it said....and it told me a few interesting things...
First, I pulled some codes off of it and what I got was a couple of heat circuit error regarding the O2 sensor. I've seen some possible problems with that and how to solve those online but I also receive a code p01022 regarding the tps, saying that there is low voltage...well I also tried to run a tps alignment because the tps is only a few months old..when trying to align with Vag-com it says "error" group does not exist..what maybe i'm not doing the alignment correctly? I'm using the link on ross-tech's site that tells exactly how to do it.
Also, I get a code regarding my MAF saying, that my voltage is too low. I've previously taken it out and cleaned it after adding a drop in K&N filter..so im not sure what the problems could be. Does anyone have any idea what this means?

The error message is due to using the wrong input value. I have a 99 dbc 30v and tried aligning it using the value 060 (for many cable-throttle cars). Turns out that my AHA engine, despite not being a drive by wire car, still needs to use the 098 adaptation input value used by the electronic throttle engines. I did that and had no problem running it, and it fixed my erratic throttle issue. Which code are you using? And what car do you have?
You can do an end-around by disconnecting the battery for a couple hours. That'll drain the power caps in the ECU and put it in relearn mode when you hook the battery back up. Do that, then turn the key on without starting the engine. You'll hear a high-pitched hum from the engine for a few seconds. Once it stops, wait 30 seconds and then turn the key off. Wait a few minutes and then turn it back on to repeat the process. Do it a third time, then, turn the key off. Wait a minute and then start the engine. It should run fine. Doing it that way isn't as precise as forcing the adaptation through vagcom but it'll get you 90% of the way there, and the car will fine tune itself the rest of the way with a little driving.

Alright, so I finally had a chance to try this, and it didn't seem to do anything :/ I didn't hear the humming sound that I was supposed to hear either. I heard a different sound almost like a mechanical sound but i don't think it was the same sound I was supposed to be hearing. It definitely reset everything because all my radio presets were reset. I am truly comfused as to what to do. I know the TPS is good because it is brand new, and actually the acceleration problem didn't happen till I replace the old non working one.
So, I finally had the chance to take a video of one of the issues. The video is of my car idling and and how its stumbles up and down...then when I step all the way to the floor on the gas it seems to hesitate, the rpms drop and it then jumps back up but has trouble revving all the way up like the sputtering you hear and see. When it does rev all the way up the gas pedal is only depressed partially and seems to rev up just fine. Also, the noise at the end is the noise I heard when trying the manual throttle body alignment.
