Not the best picture to show damage but my wheel is 3/4 round and 1/4 flat.

They're the stock '01 Sport wheels; basically 17" RS4s.
Has anyone ever had a chance to compare these to RS4 reps? I was thinking about just getting the 4th wheel as a rep if I can find one in 17x7.5.

Looks like the only picture I have of the face of my wheels is this one (they're painted):

Yeah, hit a pothole at night, at least 6" deep, 2 feet long, one tire wide. They're my winter wheels, but I still need 4 of em.

dude that sux!....you should take some pictures and file a complaint with the city!

I did similar damage to a stock ford explorer wheel and I took it to a shop and 60-75$ later it was as good as new, I would saythat is your best bet.

I don't normally see single RS4 wheels on eBay, but I am guessing you can pick up a set of them in silver for around ~400$ or so

gl!

I'd say go to your local wheel salesman and ask him first! I wish my wheels were that color! they look real nice!

Thank you very much for the compliment! So you think I should replace the set? I can't find any reps in 7.5 width, so I'd have to run one 8 if they can't fix it.
I bought a tire/wheel warranty, but the wheel is only covered if the tire is damaged... stupid.

soo...you can always damage the tire!...lol

there are plenty of reps on eBay that are 17x7.5...heres a ****LINK***

ummm... besides that...definately do NOT buy a 17x8....lol

all of the wheels and tires have to be the same size or quattro will get all sorts of screwed up....

You got PM

grind up the treads a little and you got your self some tire damage!!!

that is painful to look at, I bent two of my stocks on my a4. The shop I went to ordered me 2 new ones for around 100 a pop. They were the same style...however the color on the new ones was not faded like the old ones, so I just threw em both on the same side. So I am good until someone who can see two sides of a car at once takes a look at me.

I just had the same thing happened so i ordered 18x8.5 flik artics from edgeracing for $100 bucks a wheel. The wheels that i f'ed up last week is a dicontinued wheel and i couldn't find one so i had to order new ones. It kind of sucks but $100 per wheel is a nice deal.

I put my summer 18s on and ordered a used 17 in the proper width to not upset the almighty quattro. Thanks!
