Default Did someone awhile back have a source for RS4-style mesh?

Seems like awhile back someone posted up a source for a mesh that was very close to the same as that of the RS4 grille. Anyone remember that? I'm thinking of constructing a set of lower grilles to match the RS4 grille to tie in the front of the car better. Any of you guys seen that anywhere?

In a pinch I've also seen guys use steel "expanded metal mesh" from Home Depot, then slap several couple coats of plasti-dip on it to thicken it up and keep it from rusting. This ****:

Interesting alternative to the $300 LLTek grille set...

Exactly. It's not a perfect match to RS4-style mesh but for lower grilles it's close enough.

I imagine it'd probably look pretty decent painted black, if I carefully cut the horizontal louvers out of the grilles and used their frames to mount it.

I bet you can stretch that **** Chris posted and make it more diamond like. I have used it before not on cars tho. But black would probably deceive the common eye.

I'd say it's worth to try the one Chris posted for the price before you buy the Lltek one.

Have you checked inside Chris's trunk? He might has some laying around. <3
