Has anyone in a prefacelift (98 to be specific) undergone this modification??? I am totally down to throw 80% to the rear while having a spirited drive

The washers you can probably find for cheap, so thats not the problem, I do not want to tear apart the diff if it wont work lol

How long is the project? Looks like a day and a morning at most.

 

Depends on how well and how quickly you can pull the diff, shim it, and reassemble it. You wouldn't want to rush it. It's an awesome mod.

 

I would love to do this, if you figure out a source for the washers make sure you post it up.

 

A guy on Vortex sells them for $55. I searched that forum last year and found him.

 

Yea he's still selling them pretty much daily. I've been looking into this mod a ton, sorta nervous about pulling apart the center diff.
