This started when it was cold here last December. It doesn't happen all the time, but very close to all the time. When I open my driver's side door and the dome light is supposed to come on and stay on till I'm in the car and have the door shut, instead of staying on, the light comes on, then goes off, then comes on, then goes off, etc. Do any of you know what may be causing this? Is there an easy fix? It's pretty annoying.

 

Have you checked the plunger switch in the door jam? That'd be my first guess.

 

No, I hadn't checked that. I think I'm blind because I can't find it.
