I need to replace my brake discs front and rear i would like to know how easy or difficult a task you guys think it is?
Also first thing in the morning it is really hard to get into gear but gradualy as the car warms it is normal. is this the slave cylinder and if so how big a job is this?
Thanks.

the brakes are a breeze. No it's not the slave. More likely to be syncs. try changing the fluid with synthetic and see if that helps. that could fix it for two reasons. It could be old or too thick of fluid. You'll need the right tool to compress the rear calipers, but you can probably borrow it from autozone or whatever.
the brakes are easy. for the front you need to take off the anti rattle clip, then the caliper, then take off the bracket that holds the caliper, then the disk comes right off. install in reverse of uninstall. the proces is exactly the same for the rear except they used allen bolts that holds the caliper bracket on, mine were really hard to take off so i replaced them with hex bolts. the rear doesn't have anti rattle clips to takwe off. make sure you lub everything when you put them on, don't OD on the pins though
shifting is normal. replacing the fluid will help a bit though

yea dude like stated above front brakes are cake, the rears are a lil harder but still not rocket science, and as for the shifting problem i think its normal the tranny fluid is very thick it needs time to heat up and circulate throughout and like you said after like 5-10 mins it should be smooth...
What would you recommend? I have never replaced transmission fluid before i don't even know where the fill pug is. would there be a diagram in the haynes manual?
