I haven't done either, so I can't really say, but I want to get into AutoX. I want to be able to push my car to the limit, and I don't just mean the rev limit...

 

So you want to push your car to its 2nd gear limit and kill some cones. lol

 

Auto X looks like heaps of fun.

DR looks alright.

But I've been a sucker for rally since I was 13.

 

Actually Drag racing a car is so much different then what it looks like. Most people that go to the drag strip to run their cars end up getting hooked.

 

I'm sure it would be a blast, I just don't have a car that would be good for it so I wouldn't like it right now.

If I had a car with 400+ hp... that'd be a completely different story.

 

And that's the thing Mike I have done it before in my buddys nissan truck that runs 11.2s and have rode along in a 10.1 supercharged stang and a 12.9 stang shooting nos... Ive Auto X twice and it's fun but if you miss the 1st race or any race your out of the points and that sucks... So I don't know. I was hoping this thread would help but it is just giving me more and more not sure.

 

I have been to autos many times and driven 4 times. The last time I raced I placed 1st in the stock class with 21 people in that class and that feeling was amazing. It felt amazing beating those miata bastards

 

screw points. i autox for the fun of it, not to win points. if there are other in my class, i tend to drive much faster though.

audi guru: idk how you beat those miatas but those driver's probably can't drive for ****. i can only beat miatas on a rainy day lol

 

I wanted to ride shotgun that day.

 

i'm sure there's autox where you live and you can come ride shotgun with me next summer lol. i need to fab a camera mount for the headrest though
