Drive Flange?

Default Drive Flange?

ok so i am trying to remove the drivers side drive flange i cant figure out how to get it out there isn't a bolt in the center and im trying to find the right replacement from what i can tell the part number looks like it is 012 355 AG. i uploaded a picture of it please help i have to get this fixed before i can continue fixing my car

is the flange truly bad? Dont quote me on this because I really am not sure, but I have heard from several people that you cant just remove that drive flange, it requires partial dissassembly of the transmission. Again, im not speaking from knowledge but strictly from hear/say.

Bentley says it's no big deal. BTW, that is technically the differental, not the trans. And Bentley warns you to drain the diff fluid before you pull this. Would be a good excuse to put in some new fluid.
