Did you mark the holes where the carrier bearing was mounted at all.
No, didn't. The guy who pulled this out of the bone yard mangled the center bearing bracket so I had to bend that back into shape. I've seen guys have trouble with vibrations on this job too. I've had the shaft off about 3 times on two separate B5's and not had a problem. And I don't use a jig to line it up, just eyeball it.
Didn't take any more pics. Just wanted to show guys that looking at it isn't enough, you've got to flex it good to see when it's bad.
