Default Driveshaft Tunnel

There's a shield covering the driveshaft tunnel, separating the exhaust pipe from the driveshaft. How much space is available above that shield? I'm just wondering how much space there might be to fit a resonator there without losing too much ground clearance.

That's not an answer, there's no numbers there.

I only need about an inch or so. There's about 1/2" between the stock 2.25" exhaust pipe and the shield. So a 3" pipe would take up that space. A 4" resonator only needs another 1" of room to maintain the stock ground clearance. At worst, I'd be willing to give up 1/2" of ground clearance. I'll gain it back (and then some) when I raise the car a bit anyways.
