I'm aware of different gearing, and I know they will physically bolt up, but will it work with all stock computers/harnesses?

any insight to this? I'm also aware of the parking mechanism differences, but it's all internal and shoudln't make a difference, right?

So the only difference is 1 instead of 0 for the ZF part #, and they were both available in my model year 1998.

 

if yours is a 98 then it could only be a DRN. they might be interchangeable but if they were identicle the part numbers would be the same. if you have a choice i would try and find the same one.
