Default Dumb Question...Front Bumper

Ok this is a dumb question but I am just curious.

On the front bumper there are those two bumps right in front of the headlights and I was wondering what they are? I have heard several different things I tried searching for the answer but no luck. One of the most common things I have heard is that they are used to clean the headlights.

Thanks in advance!

sounds like you are describing the headlight washers.

with your headlights on, hold down the windshield washer stalk, those bumps should pop up and spray washer fluid on your headlights.

you are correct. Under the bumps are a pair of sprayers that wash your headlights. They only work if your headlights are on, you hold the windshield washer stalk down for 3 seconds, and the pump that runs them isn't broken (this is rare)

Note that if you have a US-destined vehicle you may not actually have the washers, even tho' the "bumps" for them are there.

Can you please elaborate? The way I understand this is if it's a vehicle destined for US we may not have the washers? Thanks in advance.
