Default Ebay FMIC's

Has anyone used these or are there any reviews?

I think it would be an upgrade to the stock one for now, and i think it will suffice for a k04 or gt28.

Am i right or are these not any good?

Thanks for any input.

I know that a lot of guys on the zine run eBay front mounts. I think it would be better than the stock side mount just by virtue of being a front mount, as long as you aren't running a huge turbo. For a K03/K04 or a gt series elim you'd be just fine. Anything bigger than that though, and you're gonna need to upgrade. Ebay intercoolers are cheap because the cores are not as dense as the more expensive ones and thus don't cool as efficiently.

i run one, i paid like $80 for the core, then custom piped it

i don't know what they sell for anymore, but if they are in the $200 range look into a treadstone..... once i have everything in order for the bike, or possibly this summer i'm going to do some work on the a4, i might buy a tr8 or tr10

just make sure to get a bar and plate ic

Intercoolers: Intercoolers

I don't think it's possible to ban mods. I've tried it with you Jeremy!

Do they work, yes but they are less dense on the inside so you have to run a larger core for the same cooling. Just keep that in mind. Treadstone makes fantastic cores for a good price. Cxracing on eBay seems to be a popular cheaper core

I have a CXracing core with my FT setup and it works great. I wouldnt waste the money on a $1000 IC unless going BT.
