I'm in desperate need for a cheap as possible transmission. This one is off a 99 Passat, and has 111k, 6 mo. warranty, and ships for 125. Is there any reason I shouldn't do this?

Honestly if it were me I would. I do hate Ebay, but if I needed to I wouldn't hesitate on that with their feedback. I take it that you already know it will fit in your vehicle like it comes from a 4motion or yours is FWD and all.
