2000, A4 Turbo, Quattro, Engine code ATW, 122,000 miles

Here's the issue:
ABS light is on, so the ABS control unit is dead and I need a new one.

Here's the question:
How do I tell if my car has EDL/Electronic Differential Lock capabilities in the ABS system? I've price the ABS control unit a couple places on line and I can get a new one for less than $500. Most websites asks if the car has electronic differential lock or not. How do I tell?


I couldn't find much searching for "EDL" or "differential lock". I know this looks like my first post, but it isn't. I couldn't remember my password, so I had to create a new identity.

Hmmm...a bunch of members have looked at the question, but no one has an easy answer. I figured this would be an easy one.

 

There's a tag in the trunk by the spare tire that tells you all the options your car came equipped with. Thing is its all 3 digit numbers and I couldn't tell ya which set it is lol. Compare the part number of your ABS module to that of the one w/ or w/o EDL which ever it matches is the right one. I think its pretty much a standard option for some reason.

I know my car has it, the maroni said so... lol... Mine's a '99 AEB though, but I can't imagine why yours wouldn't also...
