Default electrical problems/short?

hey got a 99.5 a4. wipers, turn signals and blower motor don't work. i DID change the hazard relay and wiper motor relay but didn't fix it. searched passed all the signal relay stuff and found it might be the ignition starter switch. well i DID change that too and still has the SAME problems. the hazard lights work but no signal. none at all. doesn't make a sound and doesn't work ever. wiper motors don't make a sound when turned on either. checked all fuses. just wondering if anyone else has seen this or heard of it. after change the relays and ignition switch id assume it's a short. any help is really appreciated. thanks

Did you change the "in dash" hazard relay, or the relay under the dash?

thanks for your reply, but i did change the "in dash" hazard relay. i also changed the wiper motor relay UNDER the dash. i've heard the turn signals get its power from 3 sources; the hazard relay (in the dash next to cup holder), the ignition switch (i changed that two days ago), and the central locking module. can anyone confirm this is true? is my last option the central locking module? or a possible short? could someone tell me where to start checking for the short? everything looks clean and perfect under the dash i don't smell any burnt plastic. thanks in advance.

I have tons of experience with the entire CL System. I wouldn't worry about that.

I would try going to the fuse panel and checking the terminals with a DIMM. If neither side of (say) the wiper fuse terminals are getting power when you turn them on, try putting 12V to the output side of the fuse terminal and see if they work. If you get the same results with every test, then you've confirmed that you have one issue to hunt down (that lies before the fuse box).

That will at least narrow you search quite a bit.
