might be. if your changing the turbo i would do that first, clear the codes, and see if the code comes back. if it does, you need a new cat

p0422 is not your o2 sensor. it means your o2 sensor is sensing the cat is going bad. and you don't wana touch the first o2 sensor since its reading the air coming right out of the engine, the second o2 sensor, the one you do the non fouler mod to, reads the air after its passed through the cat. and its not that hard to reach

lefty- its essentially just a spacer to put your o2 out of the main stream of air, therefore it tricks the sensor into thinking nothing is wrong. people with test pipes use it to get rid of the constant CEL

it tricks the 02 sensor into reading less (stuff) so it wont throw a code...and in reading that post i answered my own question only put it on the 2nd 02 sensor
This could work in your case but sounds like your cat is on its last life...its worth a try for 4 bucks

not necessarily i have a new cat in my car and thats the code im throwing...also i have a high flow cat and he has a stock cat so in his case, his cat is most likely done

Also is there a possiblity that our cats could be "clogged" or blocked off by something??

where did you get the high flow cat at?

this is straight from auditech's mouth

It means exactly what it says, the O2 sensors are measuring insufficient functionality of the cat converter. When you get that code there is only 1 repair, replace the cat converter.
when the o2 sensors go bad they set off a different code
