Hi everyone, I own an A4 2.8 quattro and it has little bit over 150k miles and i was thinking to do a engine swap. I also had an idea when swapping the engine if possible but the 1.8t in instead.

Some advice plz. What can i work with here?

 

is there a lot of major issues with your motor? the 2.8 should last a long time. or you more interested in the 1.8T so you can start doing performance mods?

 

yea i wanna do performance mods, plus this car has to much miles so i dont wanna invest money into it and then when i sell it end up loosing all the money.

 

Sell the car and buy a 1.8T. The topic of motor swaps on these cars has been bludgeoned to death on AF.
