Question Engine and transmission mounts, purchase?

Where can I buy on-line, some reasonably priced engine and transmission mounts?

Default Movement in stick shift when stopping and starting.

There is movement in the stick shift when stopping and starting. Someone at one of the online stores said a "snub mount" would cure a lot of the movement in a manual shifter. Any ideas?

All 5 mounts, motor, snub and transmission offered for $177.75 plus shipping.

I may try the front "snub mount" for $29.95. Installation looks manageable.

good to see people use the search function.

a snub mount will help as the stock one is probably destroyed by now, if you still have your stock shifter you could upgrade to a JHM shifter and linkage, its a little expensive but its absolutely worth every penny.

Personally, I feel a snub mounts just adds vibration and the movement isn't harnessed all that well. Understand that the snub connects the front of the engine to the front crossover pipe, which is bolted to the frame. The engine and trans don't tip back and forth that way nearly as much as they rock side to side. I'm sure everyone has an opinion, but personally, I can do without the excessive vibrations often caused by a stiff front snub for my street car.

I just installed 034 street density engine and trans mounts. These things are waaaaaay stiffer than stock, but bearable for street use. I'm running the stock snub, Stern rear diff bushings, and a Stern Rear diff power ring (which makes a huge difference).
