Default EPC light...complete loss of power

i have been having this issue lately where i'll start to accelerate in lower gears and as soon as boost kicks in, the car will kind of pop and completely lose all power and basically stall but it doesnt actually turn off, and the EPC light comes on. i was reading up on the epc light and some people are saying that a speed sensor will cause this. is this true? if so, where is the speed sensor located? is this the same thing as the wheel speed sensor located near the brakes? any help would be great

edit: ok i was reading some more after making this post and found some people saying that a throttle body alignment might help so i tried it. well that seemed to make me the problem 10 times worse. after doing the TBA, my epc light came on and the car stalled 5 times in about 5 minutes. it then threw a CEL so i had the codes ran and it threw a P1335 code...manufacturer ignition control system or misfire. also ever since doing the TBA, my vacuum at idle went from 20hg like normal down to about 12 hg and every time i boost my car throws the epc light again. is it possible this could just be a misfire? cause i thought everytime its a misfire the CEL blinks and when you scan for faults it tells you which cylinder. so now i'm confused. any help??

so it went away on its own without you doing anything to fix it? maybe the ecu will make the necessary adjustments to compensate for whatever is causing it

Do you have a stock intercooler?

yes stock intercooler. no boost leaks. and this whole problem started wheni installed a boost controller. i just unplugged the 2 hoses from the N75 and plugged them into the MBC and set the boost at about 16-17 psi. i was chipped before any of this happened and was doing fine but wanted to install a mbc to make it more smooth, prevent spiking and so forth. but now i'm having all these problems and just want to know why unplugging the lines to the N75 will make this happen and how do i fix it?

You need to check all of your connections again, and make sure the turbo outlet hose and the intercooler are tightly connected. Your problem is more than likely a lack of airflow somewhere after the turbo.

Nothing, so i could still have the problem, i havent been able to drive my car since thanksgiving, the motor is being rebuilt, but it should be ready when i get home in a week. However, i was told there was a vac leak, and also 2 bent rods, so one of those two im sure could have caused my epc light
