Oops, the way I said that came out totally wrong. My apologies! I didn't mean to be rude, I was just confused on what you were saying... for a second, I thought that pete7 was using your username and responding to this thread, that's what I meant when I said "Wut? are you pete7?" Sorry!

Edit: I didn't read the entire thread; just his original question, and then his responses, but now that I've gone through it, I see what's going on. Sorry buddy [8D]

i did switch to a mbc...thats when this whole problem started. i have checked for boost leaks after the turbo and everything is fine...i didnt touch any of those pipes and i didnt have a problem before installin the mbc but i still checked and they are fine. my vacuum has gone down from 20hg at idle down to about 10 or 12 hg at idle but i assume thats cause i left the 2 ports on the N75 open and put those 2 vacuum lines on my manual boost controller just like cincy showed in his picture of his engine bay and it works fine for him but its causing all these problems for me. and since i was chipped before installing the mbc and running 16 psi just fine, i dont see why installing a mbc instead of the stock n75 should cause all these problems. any suggestions?

pete, the only thing I can truly recommend is that you take it to a shop that knows turbo applications in and out, and talk to them about it. I'm stumped on this; perhaps if you PM auditech79 he would be able to help?

cap the 2 ends of the n75, or just rose a hose from one to the other. you still have it in the TIP right? and if its still causing problems try running it inline with the n75. and have you tried just putting the n75 back in and seeing if the problem comes back? what mbc are you using?

yeah the problem went away when i put the N75 back in and took out the mbc, but that defeats the whole purpose. i mean, i got a mbc to help regulate it and tons of people use a mbc in place of the N75 without any problems. i will try plugging the 2 ports on the N75 and see if that helps but i really dont think it will. but yes i do still have the bottom end still plugged into the inlet pipe and the electrical connector still plugged in. i'm using an ebay mbc, dont remember the company right off hand but its just a typical ball and spring mbc.

ok so i put a vacuum line in to connect the 2 open ports on the N75 yesterday and it seems to have helped some. its only happened 1 time since then and that was this morning on the way to work. i have boosted in every gear since then and not had any problems but it did still happen that one time so that tells me that this helped but it still didnt completly fix my problem. my vacuum is also still jacked up. i'm only getting about 10 or 12 hg most of the time, but then sometimes it will go to 20hg like normal. i know a vacuum leak is probably my problem with the gauge only reading 12 hg, but could a small vacuum leak also be the reason why i was getting the epc light all the time??
