Kinda confused, your post above says to unplug the MAF and if it turns off then its the MAF?

Anways already got a new ECT sensor and replaced that and it was working fine for a while then it started shutting down again. We'll see if its still doing the same thing with a new MAF.

No, unplug the maf, and if it DOES run the maf is at fault. Our 01's have Map sensors to use as failsafes if the maf is unplugged. Sorry about that, must have not looked at what i typed

Gotcha, well I started it and it ran for a while and then I hit one of the wires around the intake area and then it shut off.

Is it necessary to actually clear the code with a scanner or can I just unplug the battery and reset like that?

Well, pulled the codes and here they are.

Power supply relay for ECU P1517
Check DTC Memory for Inustrument Cluster P1654
Brake boost vacuum system mechanical malfunction P1479
powertrain data bus missing message from TCU P1626
Power supply terminal 30 voltage too low P1602
Mass airflow meter signal too low P0102
Load signal error message from ECU P1857

Cleared all these codes but now i'm kinda at a loss.
