I just noticed an ethernet slot in the center console and I was curious as where it run's to and it's overall purpose?

Yeah that is for a hand set for a 3 watt installed phone. The cable goes to the trunk where the actual main part of the phone would be mounted.


It would look like this but installed in the car, this is it but in a portable form.




At one point I used to have some of these sitting in my garage from my days when I used to install them.
