I am from illinois and since I have had the car 1 1/2 I have never gotten pulled over for it. and I rode with no front plat for 1 out of that. I have had my german plates on for 5-6 months and have not gotten pulled over for it.

It cant hurt to try it. If you get pulled over just act dumb and say you werent aware of the laws. You should be able to get away with it atleast once. They probably only pull people over at the end of the month when they havent met their quota. Im pretty sure they have quota's. I think they have to pull so many vehicles over per month.

All the hassle for a license plate!

Is it really worth all the stress?

i live in the same area as you, kendall county, and the cops here are dicks but i havent been pulled over for the plate yet. knock on wood. if your up in cook county i know they dont mess around. but yeah if anything itll be a secondary ticket so you need to get pulled over for something first and then be a dick to the cop.

its called a euro plate for a reason. we arent in europe, this is america - they are not leagal. anywhere. period. sometimes you can get away with them. sometimes you get a warning. sometimes you get a ticket. if you want to have one, just be aware that you may get pulled over for it at any time.

well then again we drive our cars on the street and not the race track so technically all of us running chips and and exhausts with race cats and bigger turbos and uprated brakes and suspension is also illegal. but we still do it, and thank god were not in california everthing there is a illegal.
