euro plates
well then again we drive our cars on the street and not the race track so technically all of us running chips and and exhausts with race cats and bigger turbos and uprated brakes and suspension is also illegal. but we still do it, and thank god were not in california everthing there is a illegal.
upgrading your car is in no way illegal. test pipes are illegal. in some states hi-flo cats are. euro plates are. but there is no law saying i cant have a 500hp car. and i agree im very glad i dont live in California. according to California half of the things i have in my house cause cancer, which i dont really understand.
i live in ohio and i have my ohio plate in the right corner of my dash not the most apealing but it gets the job done and the euro plate looks sick...i have been pulled over for it when i got a yellow one b/c the cop was confused but he said it was fine just so i had my ohio plate showing.
It is correct to say it is not legal. None the less i prefer the look so i did get one made with my CA plate number. I have not been targeted for it (YET, knocking on wood). Guess i should look it up to see if it just a fix it ticket more moving violation.
that's the spirit
Like I said, just a crazy idea I cooked up. Just for future reference copying this from Wiki.
Nevada also has front plates optional if the car requires drilling to make a mount for the plate.
