facelift definition, and headlight question
i was wondering what a "facelift" a4 would entail.
Also, are all one-piece headlights projectors? Because i have a 99.5 avant 2.8q and was wanting HIDs, but want to be conscious about the safety issues that i know some people have with them.

Facelift includes changes like one piece headlights, an updated center console, a double din radio, different HVAC control and cigarette lighter layout, white and red backlighting for the instrument cluster (as opposed to all red), door handles that jut out from the car (opposed to the flush handles on earlier models), backlit air door controls, they began putting in side curtain airbags, different side markers, and a different tail light layout, and a couple other little things.
^ Those are can holders. Like a pepsi or coke. Any other type of bottle would not work without making a mess. Go to an O'Reilly or your local auto shop and you'll probably find a generic/whatever cupholder thing that slides into the crack between the passenger seat and armrest block. That's what I use.
Starting from 1999.5 - 2001.5 the B5 came with projectors. However, there are two different types of projectors. One being the OEM halogen and the other being the OEM Xenon.

eBay if you're careful, you can also get them with "euro-spec" projector lenses and clear corners. If you want 100% OEM you can try a junk yard or pay an arm and a leg for Valeo's, last I checked they were like $900/pair or somethin like that

lol!
