I know these cars are notorious for stupid little things to break..Lets dedicate this thread to vent that last 200+ dollar part you had to buy lol..What parts do you guys find to keep having to replace? My back left window regulator has taken a **** twice so far.. And I had to replace boost line ever so often.. I heard the abs module is a beeotch and rebuilds are expensive?? like 300??? is that true?

 

Look for the things that always break on A4's thread or something like that. It's basically the same idea as this thread.

 

I have to keep replacing my transmission and it pisses me off. It sucks making 800hp. lol

well i know how much of a burden that is for you mike... so being the awesome person i am ill take that problem off your hands for you... hell ill even borrow a car to go down there and pick it up myself just so u dont hvae to worry about that headache anymore hahaha

 

The thread he was talking about is "Things that go wrong with all A4s". As for this idea, I'm on my third combi switch, which is why I'm working on adapting the car to use relays for the headlights to cut down the current going through the switch. As for the ABS module, PM me if you need one - pretty sure I have one in the garage.

 

Something that's failed pretty consistently for me are my coils. Newer renditions, whatever. Same issues. Also, my cup holders suck. But then again, the car is 9 years old so things are bound to fall apart sooner or later.

 

Still have no ac or heat and cant find the problem!
