Fair labor estimate?

Fair labor estimate?
My A4 served me well for 170k miles and needs some TLC.
It needs new thermostat valve, water pump, timing belts, fuel filter, spark plugs and valve cover gasket along with Audi 60k maintenance service.
I know it is not a short walk on the park but what would be a fair estimate on labor for all these services?
Thanks!

alright, you can easily do the fuel filter, spark plugs and valve cover gasket on your own...
as far as a timming belt job (which includes the H20 pump) you're looking at about 300-400 in parts and about 6 hours of labor...

i think it was mjm that had a timing belt kit with metal water pump and themostat for like $280 shipped. they will also carry spark plugs, fuel filter, and VC gasket. if you buy the parts, even if you have a shop do the labor, you will save yourself some money on markup of parts.

^^^sometimes a shop will bump up the labor rate when they're losing out on the parts markup.
I'd buy the stuff you need and whilst doing that check the board for your area both here and Audizine. Many members have experiance doing these jobs and will charge you a fraction of the what a stealer or indy shop will.
good luck
