Default fan Belt tensioner. Help!!

My fan Belt broke last week. I changed it and just checked it today to see that it is not seating square with the tensioner wheel. Quarter of the belt if off. This is due to the tensioner not seating straight. Meaning the tensioing part is sitting at an angle. Ive tried to make it straight but everytime i start the car it just jumps out of place.. can anyone tell me how to fix it or is the tensioner F***@#???

if the tensioner is what is messed up, just replace it, its not that expensive. At least it wasn't expensive for my 2.8.

well check the tensioner first to see if it's just a loose bolt before spending money.

Dude, I had this problem before, the tensioner is going and you will need to replace it soon. My went out and I had to tow my car to the shop, can't even start the damn car. If your planning to do it yourself, you will need to take the whole front off, including the radiator.
