Just scanned the codes following the write up on audi world and came up with the following diagnostic trouble code. : 8.5 .

Can anyone please help me out with this issue.....my a/c blows only hot air. Checked everything else before looking at the codes.....

Anybody help please...i'm sick of this a/c issue.....

 

Im not familiar with audiworlds methods, just the correct ways to fix a car.....

Have you scanned it with a VAG COM? If not, do so.
You have to check the system pressures, which you can't do either.

 

08.5 Temperature Regulator Flap, static block, *08.5 (see below) that would be why its hot probably. Service manual should tell u or google it maybe, i think its visible on the passenger side kick panel i think it has a red arm.

 

sorry double post... oh and it says when it gives that code it is trying to move the door back and forth to dislodge whatever is in its way but it is failing to do so. thats on audiworld.com resoruces

 

Audi tech, i don't have a vagcom.....So i had to follow the proceedure posted on AW....I live in Ann arbor MI. So if anybdy around has one it would be great if they can help me with this as its getting real hot and my audi is the only car i have.


Dallas09, ya i looked at the fault codes description and was wondering if any of u can guide me on how to fix this issue,.....can somebody guide me on fixing this......Thanks a lot...
