Default feeling ripped off- forge dv tuning kit

my 007 forge dv came in today as well as the tuning kit that cost $15. as a warning to others the kit is a bit of a rip off for those running <30psi. the only items not included with the forge dv anyway Is an additional spacer and the 30+psi "red spring" the yellow blue and green springs along with two spacers are included with the dv anyway. this info is not present on the ecstuning site and now I feel ripped off having two of 80% of what I was thinking I was getting "extra"

[/end rant]

i don't think you should feel that way. now you can get a motor building kit and huge turbo and run 30+ boost lol. when you say extra do you mean the clamps and hoses? that would run more than 15 bux if you want all that. you only get what you pay for lol.

LOL dont get me wrong, im glad I got it in the long run, but I paied $15 for 1 extra .05 disc of metal and an extra spring that I won't even need for the gt28rs until I build the new motor next year.. I bought it thinking "yeah! ima get all this great new stuff with my new dv" but really ended up being "ohh.. yay for getting all this new stuff.. that I already had "

The different springs are just designed to help over come any pressure drops, they dont help to hold more boost seeing that boost pressure is being added to the top of the valve at the same rate it is being supplied at the bottom. They also change how much vacuum is needed to actually open the valve. So a valve designed to hold 15psi is still going to hold 30psi because the pressure on both ends are still the same at both boost levels.
