forge 007 dv tuning

i have an 01 a4 1.8t with giac-x chip and dv, im running around 15psi and spiking 18, my diverter valve came with the tuning kit to change out when running higher psi, but i dont remember wich color is in wich psi range and if i need to change colors. i tried searching couldnt come up with anything.

in PSI

Green - 5-15 PSI

Yellow - 15-23 PSI

Blue - 23-30 PSI

Red - 30 + PSI


or in bar

Green: 0.3-1.03 Bar
Yellow: 1.03-1.58 Bar
Blue: 1.58-2.06 Bar
Red: 2.06+ Bar

if you use the strongest spring it will not recirculate the air the spring will not be moved by the air. go w/ yellow like you said definatly.

if your not expirencing any boost issues or problems holding boost leave it alone, i still have the green spring in mine and I spike at 23psi and hold at 19psi and have no problems

I have found that the yellow spring was less spikey but didt let me hold enuff boost (15psi) , green one i have found to be more spikey but lets me hold more boost (18psi).

yeah i had the same problem yellow doesnt hold as much but less spiky(18psi) green hold a sh!tload more for me(23psi)

Yea I spike 23 and hold around 18 with my green spring on X chip tuning...

Well i have a 98 1.8tqm with giac and n75j and i fall down to around 8 at redline....should i go back to the green spring?
