Talking finally back home

well for you doubters.... *insert very rude remark here*

i just got home... here are a couple pics i took before i left... the mechanic who also happens to be the diver for the s13 megan racing drift car for Formula D said it could safely go about an inch lower in back and 1/2 inch in the front... so ill prolly do that tomorrow

the ride is a lil stiffer than my springs i had but the response on the bumpy/wavy roads driving down the grapevine was wonderful

the other good news i got was when i was leaving he told me since the guy with the b5 quattro (the first test fit) was kind of a dick that whenever they R&D anything else for the b5 (unless its for quattro obviously) then they are gonna gimme a call... so of course i told them to look into sway bars and strut tower bars and contral arms and headers for the 2.8 lol....

anyways thats my story... now here are the pics lol

I know what every one else is thinking. It needs to be lower (j/k)

You are lower than me though.

Congrats man, I'm super glad for you that everything worked out. Keep us posted about quality, ride, etc. You are the official spokesperson now.

lower it more! and fix the wheel paint.. also I think those taillights would look better with the reverse red
looks so good for a free upgrade though! still think 2" lower is perfect?

Yea ive been thinking bout the reverse red thing too...... But as far as 2 in lower right now, ima hold off cuz now that its lowered i can hear my rear driver wheel bearing going whoomp whoomp whoomp or whatever that nose is... So ima replace that before i go lower

ooh and as far as fixing the wheel paint... i tried aircraft paint stripper in a can and that didnt work... what else would u suggest trying... no i dont have a drill so dont ask lol

I meant do you still think 2" lower than stock is perfect like you used to say?

oooh hahaha... well ill plead the fifth... but the ride is stiff but smooth if that makes sense... its still smooth over bumps and dips, but its stiff when im turning hard/accelerating quickly

currently the spring rate is set at 18 in front and 16 in the rear which is basically right in the middle between getting softer or more stiff... but i found out i have to drill a hole in the engine bay to access the front suspension... so it might be a while before i get ballsy enough to cut a hole to adjust the stiffness

this is my first set of CO on any of my cars and so far im thoroughly impressed

why dont you just sand them and repaint them silver? cuz before you painted them black you had them sanded right? so even if you get the black paint off the silver will be messed up anyways.
