Default Finally getting Coilovers!!!!

I talked to a guy today and i am going to be buying his Brand New Vmaxx coilovers for $400. I am not going to be slammed because i have one of the steepest driveways in all of America literally and would have no way of getting in it at all. What i am wondering is should i get the Panzer Skid Plate or just roll with the ecs metal one http://www.ecstuning.com/Audi-B5_A4-...kid/ES1876874/

i would like to get the panzer one but for 80 bucks for the ecs one i was just wondering if anyone is using that and would that hold up good enough?

I will be picking these up the weekend after Easter because i will have money on Easter because it is my birthday and i will have money to be spending and money is tight right now due to me only being 17.

Any feedback would greatly be appreciated. Thanks

go with the panzer plate. why spend $50 on something which may not do anything to protect your engine?

The skid plate in the link was for VW 2L motors...

If you have the wherewithal to make your own, I think that would be a better option than buying a cheap one.

That would be badass if you could pull it off. Those are, what, like 1/16" steel?

lol that would be funny, but it obviously only makes sense if the sign is big enough to replace the belly pan, yenno? I feel like any highway sign would do the trick
