finally lowered with 18s took long enough.
what a fiasco it has been. installed the springs. got my wheels and they were wrong. sent them back and got the right ones about 2 weeks later. mind you it took almost a month for the first set. i was furious. but i got 2 years of road hazard warrentee out of it. score anyway back to the story. so while i was doing the springs, i noticed that a lot of the ball joints were shot. so i continued on. it was lowered drove it while waiting for a control arm kit. which by the way fcp groton is on top of there stuff. while i ordered that my driver side rear wheel bearing went. great. so for a week my car was in pieces and sitting real sad on one wheel. anyway had the back apart moved to the front to do the control arms. passenger side went great. moved the the drive side. guess what. i had a cj joint puke all over the place. plus the joint it self had a lot of play in it. so once again im waiting on parts. finally got it. through the axle in bolted up the control arms. and through the new set of wheels on..

there will be more pictures for sure. im trying to get some with a wide angle. those were just with a normal digital. the wheels are 18x8.5 the tires are 225/40. and they are mrr designs. they may get lower. they are only actually been driven on for about like 250 miles the rest of the time there was no weight on them.
Concur that it looks great. I'll tell ya, there's a fine line between a decently lowered car and too much drop, imo. I love the way it looks--just right. Painting the lowers would be good, as others have suggested. I like an even matching coat all the way around, but that's just me. Stick with what you like, for sure. Congrats on getting it done!
