Default First set of mods done, now what?

So I have now done my initial wave of mods on my car and now that I have gained performance it's leaving me wanting more! I have a Revo Stage 1 Tune, 710n DV, SSAC Catback Exhaust, Boost gauge,Stage 2 Clutch so far. In the future I want to do a big turbo setup, but that is not in the cards seeing I'm going to college in two weeks. BUT, I would love to try and squeeze some more power out of my baby without dumping a huge amount of cash. Given the changes, what would you guys suggest?

Thanks

You could look into a hi flow cat or test pipe.

Have you done anything to the suspension or drivetrain? What about maintenance?

I know I don't want to do a test pipe since it would be much louder than it is now(which is not what I want) and can't really find a good high flow cat for decent price. Would a better cat make much of a difference anyways? And no to suspension or drivetrain, want to do S4 suspension but haven't gotten into digging around for that yet. Maintenance is all kept up since I bought it from someone who always had it maintained at the dealership.

I would do a testpipe. The turbo acts as a muffler, so it won't be much louder at all, and the gains will be very helpful.

I have a test pipe and my car didn't get much louder at all. The whistling of the turbo got louder but not the actual exhaust note. You'll like the low end torque too

How do you like that cat back?

Just don't become focused on only power like so many people do. Prep the brakes and suspension as well so the car is a balanced attack. Read my sticky post on S4 suspension if you haven't yet, as it'll help you decide if that's truly what you're looking for. It's here or in the DIY section I think.

The main problem with the whole test pipe situation is dealing with inspections. Maine is pretty stupid when it comes to emmisions so I'm not sure how it would go to have one in my car. And devil, yeah I wasn't planning on leaving my suspension stock for long, I had read your post on the S4 suspension and definately plan to do that as well. Just trying to find some things to do before I leave for college. Also, what should by boost be at with a Revo tune? It only went up to like 10psi when I got it tuned and kind of expected more.

Oh and Chris, I love the catback, much better than I expected. I can post a video of it if you would like.

I kept my cat, the plan is to just swap it in to get emissions tested, then swap it back out afterwards. They only do emissions here every 2 years. A video would be great, thank you!

10psi is low for a chipped car. Sounds like safety boost, a vacuum leak, or a DV that can't hold the boost. Did you upgrade the DV? If not, you need to. The other thing is, are you seeing 10psi at high RPM, as it falls from a higher peak, or is 10 all you can get? A K03 turbo falls off boost up high, so if you're peaking at 16 or so and falling off, that's normal. With the car warmed up and idling, AC off, what is your vacuum on the boost gauge? It should be -18 to -22. Any higher than that and you have a leak.

I have a 710n in there for the DV, and I will be checking for boost leaks but I am pretty sure I have nothing that should be causing a signifcant drop. But I will be doing another test with the tester I made a while back. And the boost is the peak, it doesn't go higher whatsoever. I will check on the idleing pressure when I can. Thanks
