Default Flashing red BRAKE light..ABS MODULE?

I have been doing my research on the audi and one big thing i didn't notice was the brake light that comes on in the dash i thought that maybe it's just a problem with the e-brakes sensor and didn't notice it was basically continuously flashing. So basically my question is that is it the abs control module that i should be worried about?

Generally when the ABS module has a problem it will flash the ABS light, and put the BRAKE light on solid. This leads me to believe it's not your module but something else, like an ABS sensor.

Only real way to check what the problem is, is to use VAG-COM or similar device to scan your ABS module and have it report the fault codes to you.

I've had that issue as well i thought I was my brake sensor but shortly after as well as my brake light coming on my battery light came on thus being my alternator that was shorting out then died on me very soon after. So just be wary of those signs

What year car? Brake light on in the dash without the ABS light could be low brake fluid, usually flashing, brake pad wear sensors, if your car is equipped with them, the E-brake switch, and in some cars, a burnt out brake light bulb.

Just reverse what you said there, brake light flashes, abs on solid.

+1 Mark, if its just the brake light it sounds like brake fluid to me.
