The width of the core and the position and angle of the inlet/outlet are major factors for that. Most of the eBay cores have the inlet/outlets positioned at the bottom of the core and they're straight as opposed to angled back a bit. No chance you're gonna be able to keep the fogs that way. The Treadstone core in that GB on AZ has the inlet/outlets offset towards the middle of the core and they're angled back towards the engine slightly. This will allow you to keep the fogs, but the off-the-shelf piping kits are going to require some creative tweaking.

I agree though, $800 for custom piping is ******* crazy.

this is true.. i just try to put mine in last night and i took for ever to get it done i dint even finish, the trimming and cutting takes up all the time considering mine is way smaller than what he want's. its easier said then done.

the core he has is way too big to flip it. the inlet and outlet would be inside the rebar. he could try getting an intercooler with inlet/outlet in the center as long as the core isnt too tall.

Well I decided that I'm going to go with the core from the group buy that CCA4 suggested to me that was on Audizene. So that one that I linked to isn't that big of an idea for me anymore.
