The anwser your looking for is in a new bumper. It sucks getting a fmic to fit in the stock bumper, I know.

eh....i'm not in to any of the aftermarket bumpers for our cars. i would like to get an S4 bumper but they are so hard to come by, plus they arent cheap to ship so i would have to get lucky and find one local.

well....i read your DIY sticky and noticed your intercooler is 6 inches in height, mine is 7 inches....so that is were my main problem is. the lower valence is pushed down just enough to annoy the **** out of me and the bumper wont latch flush on the sides. so i think with a little more trimming it will be good. i just thought there was a way to adjust the bumper to make it more flush with the side panels

Sounds like you might have to cut into the metal bumper a bit to get it up high enough. The part of mine that got in the way the most was the end connections of the intercooler. I ended up using a rubber hammer to bend the openings into ovals instead of circles so the bumper would slide all the way back.

yeah i measured it and if i take about a half inch out of the steel bumper it will fit nice and snug...sucks. i used a drimmel tool for the steel tabs, talk about a pain in butt!

Buy a cheap grinder, it will be 110x easier than a dremmel.
