Okay so my cousin is taking his Forge 004 off his 05 gti because he says someone told him that he will lose 4psi 15 horse that it will stick and break his car. His did get stuck but is all this true, sounds like BS to me. Also he is stock, just an N75j. Whats the deal

 

people on the MKIV forums are all clowns, they are the people who started the whole wave of people saying BOV's will make you're car explode...no you will not lose 4psi, no you will not lose 15hp, and lastly your car will not break [:@] If its sticking it either needs to be re-lubed or there is a kink in the vac line coming off of it.

I had a 004 and it woorked great.... i think onepoint8tee has it now my guess is its still working well...... they are pretty much the same as the 007 just not a compact version

 

the 004 is a BOV the 006 like you have in your sig is like the 007
