Default Forge Splitter

I was wondering if anybody had any experience with the forge splitter valve? If so is it an easy install and would you recommend it. I am looking for the famous blow off valve sound. I have a 2001 audi a4 1.8t . Basically I would like to know if it's any good or if it ***** **** up.

The Forge splitters are really popular with Audi owners. They're very reliable and always the first modification that's made right after a chip upgrade.

Is it pretty easy to replace oem diverter valve with the forge splitter if so is the sound decent? Knowing that our cars shouldn't have blow off valves for circulation reasons has anybody experienced any problems with the spltter?

If it's installed correctly, you shouldn't have any problems at all. The Forge 007 splitter is quite possibly the most popular DV upgrade for Audi/VW owners.

I am running splitters now as a test stage and had regular forge reps DVs before that.

i run one, never had a problem, although its no where near loud. i can barely hear it unless im driving slow. to be honest im not quite sure how to adjust it, i was told the adjustment doesnt do anything to the sound, and i think its true since i ran it with no clicks and then i ran it with all clicks and i didnt notice a difference. but altogether its a good piece.

What are some of the advantages of changing to the splitter?

No functional advantages. If you like the sneeze noise, the advantage is that you'll get it.

Aha sneeze noise. I love that sound.

How does an actual BOV screw with mileage?
